14MAY2011 @ Ft.Yates, ND (Canoe) and Helena, MT (Me) - It was a full day of mowing grass, opening/organizing mail and in general straightening up the yard. Having verified that Matt Betcher would indeed arrive to occupy the A-Frame on Monday, and expecting that he would be acceptable as a renter, I transmitted his cleaning and security deposits to the rental trust account. Then his letter receipt was prepared, as was the lease agreement.

Late in the day Bruce Meyers (aka Gilbert Stands in the Rain) arrived. He helped with the grass mowing and stayed in our spare bedroom with his sons, residents of Townsend.

15MAY2011 @ Ft. Yates, ND (Canoe) and Helena, MT (Me) - Upon awaking I put the lawn mower in the trunk and returned it to A-1 Rental. Half-day charge since I was there when they opened.

At noon Alex moved from the A-Frame, handing over the keys. It being Sunday I was not able to get his cleaning deposit and hand it over, so I will mail it this week after ascertaining the amount of water bill he has paid. He has left the house quite clean - nothing required of me before the next resident arrives. Even so, I took some vinyl flooring over to use as shelf liners, "howdy"ed some with the neighbors and looked around a bit more as the shadows got long.

Some items not with the canoe - toastight, tent, hatbill light - are being gathered and piled.
