13JUNE2012 @ Clemson, SC - Up at 0300, dad and I were motoring toward the Greenville Spartanburg airport at 0400.  By 0520 I was through security and ready to board.  Our best knife is now owned by our government ... shucks, I forgot all about carrying that.
Arriving in Sioux Falls later than scheduled I was compelled to taxi the 1.8 miles to the bus station.  Had I been on schedule I would have easily walked that, and that was my intent.  In addition to saving money, the walk would have been pleasant as it was the first brisk air I had felt in weeks.  Oh well, $10.18 taxi fare lighter I got the bus ticket to Vivian and waited (late departure).  The ride west was pleasant as I sat beside a young man from Bonn and was able to discuss Verena and my small knowledge of Deggendorf.  At Vivian, Bob Burrell was there and in short order we were on our way to Pierrre where we shared a filling visit to the China Buffet ... still a wonderful place.  After leaving Bob I filled the gas tank and the radiator overflow tank.  Apparently the radiator was low; the S10 ran a bit hot for 100 miles until I stopped at a bar and added more water.  It was then running at the right temperaturre all the way to Belle Fourche.  Pulling in at Belle Fourche after sundown but well before dark felt good.  It was a high energy push-push-push day and I got it all done.  TV is totally uninteresting but the pillow is exceedingly interesting ... good night all.
