My plan for today was mostly to clean the house - so that my wife would arrive at something a notch above disgusting - while also arranging my canoeing gear for departure and being ready to view the college basketball semifinals.  With that in mind, Steve N. helped me get the canoe on my truck.  Shortly thereafter I was back at Bob R's garage to pay him for his patching.  While there a truck emptier agreed to empty his load of sod in my yard.  He was there as I arrived back home and in a few minutes I was engaged in moving the sod aside some of the correctly set grade stakes.  That took over an hour and got me sufficiently dirty and tired.  By tipoff I was clean, parked before my screen and starting into some warmed over grilled turkey and a baguette. Tasty! The basketball semifinals were excellent .. I'm beginning to appreciate that Michigan team more and more as I watch them more and more.
