20May2010 at Billings, MT - At midnight I was in Billings strolling around the several blocks near the Greyhound Bus station. By 540AM I was in Butte and Felomina was waiting there for me - awesome. At 715AM I was at the No Sweat Cafe in Helena drinking some properly strong coffee and breakfasting on one whole-wheat pancake topped by brown rice and honey ... also awesome. Shortly after that I was in bed asleep ... despite the coffee. At noon I was at the Real Food Store enjoying some real food with friend Steve Nelsen. In the afternoon I unpacked my stuff, put much of it back in it's place and generally lolled around happily doing absolutely nothing.
The mail arrived and contained a note from Jaque and Gary Pitzen of Richey, MT. They had been to the camper trailer upstream of Brockton and found my note with some money. They were writing to return the money and express their happiness that their trailer had been helpful. What a wonderful pleasant surpsrise that was!
While waiting for Eric to return to his haircutting chair at Bone's Barber Shop I met with insurance agent Cheri Parsley-Tripp to discuss the trip in general and the accident in particular. Since the canoe is not motorized it may be covered under my homeowner's insurance, though she has doubts about that. Stay tuned about insurance. No need to stay tuned for a haircut, I now have white sidewalls to contrast with my tanned face ... awesome.
Retiring to my bed was ... shall I write it again? ... awesome!
