Today is a day to be in Helena, get my chafing soothed, enjoy another monthly cookout and go to bed happy. It's nice to have a list easy to accomplish.
Willard K. and I went to the Good Samaritan when it opened. We then went to the Good Will store and he was safely at the Creative Arts Program by about 1000. After buying some turkey and potato chips I was once again at home and at 1300 the fire was started. The afternoon was warm and dry; in short order the tablesaw was positioned outside the garden as well as four tires and two ladders. As the fire blazed on, the tulips expressed their appreciation for being allowed to continue their spring thing.
By 1630 Jim B. and Steve N. joined me and the grilled wonderfuls - sausage, turkey and elkburger - went on. That plus some Coronas were inhaled and all was clear before dark. All in all it was a good monthly cookout and was a pleasant break from the walking. My joints are happier, my soles are happier and my diminished chafing makes me much happier.
