8APRIL2013 @ Helena, MT -

Today arrived brutally cold, windy and humid.  After coffee, bagel and cookie (mahalo Gordon) with Fred C. and Gordon N. I washed clothes, bought a nice piece of repair oak at the Restore, bought a computer carrying satchel at the Good Samaritan and was back home taking care of lots of final paperwork ... think paying bills mostly.  By 1500 the repair oak was affixed to the wall in Robyn B's apartment and six envelopes were in the blue mailbox over at the courthouse.  What I've not done is adjust grade stakes in the yard for the grading to be done this summer ... too cold to get onto that now.  At 1830 I was at Steve/Judy's for the TV viewing of another national championship basketball display.  Firing on about 11 cylinders, Louisville beat Michigan by six, a margin that would - in all likelihood - have been 15 or so had the game lasted another few minutes.  Joining the Atlantic Coast Conference for next season, Louisville(7) along with Duke(4) and North Carolina(3) comprise three of top seven all-time successful basketball colleges.  Only the Big Ten (Ohio State(6), Indiana(8), Michigan(9) and Michigan State(10)) with four of the best all-time top ten compares with the ACC for excellence at the top.
So now the basketball stage has been cleared ... time to focus on the Yellowstone River.
